This is based off the supposed fact that the Mayan calendar ends on 21 DEC 2012. Of way, does the world end every Dec 31st when your calendar ends? It’s a bunch of silly jabber.

Slim to none. As Richard said, the same as tomorrow. Remember when the world was supposed to end in 2000? Then in 6/6/06? The Mayan calendar ends then, and they new absolutely nothing about space relation to us (they knew some things, but we know about ten thousand times as much). The Earth will end in a couple billion years for sure when the sun sheds its outer layers, incinerating the Earth, and there’s a one-in-numerous-trillion chance that the large asteroid Apophus will hit a very tiny gravity well in a couple of years that will cause it to hit the Earth in 2036.
ZERO is the chance of such a dumb hoax being right. It has no real basis. It’’s all just lies and errors… mostly deliberate ones, and that’s the same as lies.
People who are scammers to make money are the ones came up with this prediction and no, the world will not end in 2012. It isn’t based upon any solid prove. The chances are the same as the world being paid hit by an asteroid tomorrow or you chocking on a cheeseburger.
This 2012 stuff is a scam and way to make money off of people’s fears. It maybe right that that mayan calendar ends but, it doesn’t mean the world is going to end just because of that. Did you know that one of numerous Mayan calendars is the Long Count calendar, which is reset to day 0 every 1,872,000 days or 7057.5 years? The next reset date, by some calculations, is December 21, 2012. This is not a prediction of the end of the world and wasn’t meant to be. The Mayan Calendar has to end sometime just like other calendars. You know what is sad? People may commit suicide over this thought its the end of the world. Or maybe some people would get unwise with their money and spend it all like crazy and be in thousands of dollars in debt, just because they plotting the world would end. Then they have to pay it off later and deal with the stress of those bills. That’s why those who spread rumors about 2012 should be punished and nobody could predict the future.
From my investigate of this 2012 stuff I found out the fallowing:
• Planet X (Nibiru) isn’t going to hit the Earth it doesn’t exist.
• The Earth’s magnetic poles are switching everyday, this isn’t going to happen all in just 1 day. This administer takes thousands of years and throughout geological description there has been may pole switches and life has still survived.
• The poles will switch in one day due to a black hole. This is absolutly NOT right. The nearest black hole to our galaxy is 1600 light years away and we don’t have to worry.
• The Earth will be lined up with a sunspot on the sun, but it doesn’t mean it will wipe out all life on Earth. One time ago, Earth was lined up with a sunspot and people were on it and every person didn’t just die. It just disrupted radio waves and it may cause a disruption in electricity but, it won’t kill the whole entire Earth.
• The myth about there going to be catasphoic earthquakes isn’t right at all, you cannot predict earthquakes.
• No coment will hit Earth or asteroids and that can’t be predicted.
• These cultures such as the Japanese, Mayans, Japanese and Egyptians didn’t predict such a thing. These people were just human too and you cannot trust anyone to read the future.
• If you have been watching the Panic Chanel about 2012 or no matter what thing like that, all they are just trying to do is scare people so they can make money.
Each time the end the world is predicted. They are always incorrect. Here are all the predictions of when the world would end and each time they where incorrect. Every year there is a prediction like this. I’m sure that if 2012 doesn’t happen, they will reckon of something else. Through out description the end has been predicted but has never happened. Also, reckon about this. If the Mayans were able to predict the future, why couldn’t they see what would happen to their society in the future?

I truly do not believe the world is going to end in 2012… I have a few reasons why I believe this…
First NO man knows when the world will come to an end! No matter how smart, how well loved, how religious, or how crazy they are!!
I know this because of these few verses…
1 Thessalonians 5:2
‘For you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.’
2Peter 3:10
‘But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will expire with a roar; the fundamentals will be hurt by fire, and the earth and all in it will be laid bare.’
Revelation 16:15
“Deliberate, I come like a thief! Blessed is he who stays awake and keeps his clothes with him, so that he may not go naked and be shamefully exposed.”
I don’t know about you, but normally people don’t know when a thief is appearance… What will normally happen is, the thief will steal something small and you will never know he was even in your house; You could wake up the next day and find all missing; Or you wake up in the middle of the night by “surprise” and find out that a name is in your house taking things…
The point I’m trying to make is when the world ends, and Jesus comes back for the final time, is going to be a complete surprise to EVERYONE! I also believe this because…

These verses visibly state that not one man, and not one angel, knows when the world is going to end! Jesus doesn’t even know when he’s going to come back for his following and final time! But it’s all in the Fathers timing, (which is exact by the way). Isn’t that crazy!!
Now don’t just take my word on this though… you should look up these verses on your own, and check them out for physically, See what you come up with.
Also if you want to know how the world is REALLY going to end, read the book of Revelation, it will tell you in pretty excellent explanation how the world is going to really end!

pretty well the same odds of it happening in five summary from now or five centuries from now, or what it was yesterday before yesterday happened. Extremely unlikely.
That whole 2012 thing is an internet scam, somebody before a live audience a joke even if many people reckon it is serious. it isn’t. There is absolutely no basis for the thought. It is a load of hooey. Do not worry. You are far far more liable to be struck by lightening or hit by a car or crash in an airplane, or even to get hit by a crashing airplane while sitting in your living room watching tv. Even being paid hit by a meteor is way way more liable, and that essentially never happens.
Some things in life are worth worrying about, and others aren’t. 2012 end of the world is NOT one of the things that needs to be worried about.
I don’t know about the chances, but I heard that even NASA says that on December 21st 2012, increased solar activity and other cosmic events will take place. Don’t worry, its appearance. I can’t wait.

Nostradamus never knew the mayas and he predicted the end of the world at the same time, dec 21st, 2012. He also predicted the 9 11.
There are many predictions on it such as global warming, the linement of all planets in a solar logic and meteor chances of destroying this planet.
Now im not very huge on knowledge. You can do investigate on physically around the internet instead of believing what people tell you. I myself want to keep living beyond 2012. But if it is truly the end, then i guess we have nothing to do about it. Just live your day to the fullest because death can come anytime to anyone.

theres no chance the world is going to end in 2012, and i am not saying it wont, but not in 2012. because our distance from the sun changes every four years. and do you guys remember when they said the world was going to end in like 2008 or something? so yea anyways every four years the distance changes so our mobile, internet etc signals will exchange for a small time. soo dont worry about it

The “prediction” is a series of unrelated tales and completely pretended tales lumped together under one date to make it all seem more liable.

Yes there was a prediction. In Y2K and 2003.
2003 was “predicted” by the same erson, Nancy Lieder. She said that she was just wanting to fool the establishment and see how they would react.
Ok, now no need to panic.
1. The Mayan calendar ends on that date. It doesn’t mean End of the world, it austerely means, it’ll start from the admittance again. Like our calendars.
2. Nancy Lieder said that aliens are discussion to her. But thing is, she’s fooled us all once, remember the 2003 thing? Are we gonna trust her again? And she and other people do this kind of thing to earn quick bucks.
Like authors wrote books like “Right facts of 2012″ or “2012 survival guide“, it’s cos everyone is currently freaking out and want to learn how to survive and etc. So the authors get rich quick.

3. Some websites say “Scientists prove that world is going to end on 21 December.” But which scientist? They did not state.
Some even claim that “NASA has all the info about this 2012 world gonna end thing.” But they didn’t give the link, and when people searched the NASA website for the news, there’s none.
4. Nibiru is fake. Imaginary planet. And the photographs are photoshopped.
